it’s agonising & horrid to see children smoking hookah and this is rising at an alarming level,in fact many parents have started smoking hookah with their children thinking it’s harmless..well,the predominant reason for this societal crisis is lack of awareness & wrong guidance..

“BASELESS & BRAINLESS JUSTIFICATION GIVEN BY CHILDREN”-
many youngsters & their parents justify hookah smoking by mistakenly believing that smoking hookah or shisha are less harmful than smoking a regular cigarette because the tobacco is filtered through water..sadly there is no scientific evidence for this statement.unlike cigarette tobacco, the hookah tobacco is colorfully packed and sold in different flavors like apple, mint, cherry, chocolate, coconut, licorice, cappuccino, watermelon & candy which appeals the youngsters and convinces them to think,it’s not as harmful as smoking a cigarette..well,it’s like consuming a “sugar coated poison” and also many people smoke hookah in lounges,clubs & cafe,so it is perceived to be a social activity,harmless with an “I am inn outlook & attitude” which is like dwelling in a palace of illusion..

“THE HEALTH HAZARD INVOLVED IN HOOKAH OR SHISHA SMOKING”—
A single session of hookah or shisha smoking can lead to a greater exposure to carbon monoxide than smoking a single cigarette..
To be precise…
A)In a typical 1-hour hookah smoking session, users may inhale 100–200 times the amount of smoke they would inhale from a single cigarette..In a single water pipe session,users are exposed to up to 9 times the carbon monoxide and 1.7 times the nicotine of a single cigarette..
B)The amount of smoke inhaled during a typical hookah session is about 90,000 milliliters (ml), compared with 500–600 ml inhaled when smoking a cigarette..
now that’s a serious exposure and causes direct harm to heart & blood vessels..

“HARMFUL INGREDIENTS OF HOOKAH LEADING TO CHRONIC DISEASES”—
Yoo,it also contains nicotine,airpollutants,volatile organic chemicals,tar,polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons..an illiterate also knows they are loaded with carcinogenic properties leading to serious lung damage and can also drive you towards cancer,especially lung cancer,oral,bladder & stomach cancer along with reduced lung functional capacity,making you more prone for corona and leads to male & female infertility or sexual impotence..
